23.03.06 (18.05.06 - sorry, found it on my desk stuck behind something else - Webmaster)
From the desk of John Cooper.....
Here are the NSW Grades as at 23.03.06, including the adjustments following the NSW State Titles held at Coffs Harbour.
Due to the weather conditions and ground conditions of the ranges (the worst that I have seen in 20 years of IPSC) I have not adjusted any grading following the State Titles.
Whilst I concede that this may be a disappointment to Jim Staader, Garry White and Bruce Mchardy who all produced "Master Grade" results, I feel that to up-grade then would be incorrect due to the appalling conditions.
Congratulations to all and best regards.

In NSW we grade/re-grade shooters off NSW Team Selection Shoots together the information already on record for grades between A grade and D grade only. Master Grade can only be attained at NSW State Titles, National Championships or Level Three matches.
Congratulations go to Garry White who shot 97.27% in Production Division (for a result of 3rd overall), however, he remains in A grade.
Congratulations also go to Robert Pretty who won Revolver (Standard) Division as an ungraded competitor, however, due to the limited number of shooters in this division we are unable to accurately determine a grade for Robert so he will remain in D grade.
Congratulations to all those competitors that broke grade.

The following competitors broke grade or were graded following their performances at the Blacktown Open.
As a NSW Team Selection shoot this competition was attended by a lot of the States best shooters and the results indicate the following grade breaks or initial grading.
For those that might be curious, in NSW we grade/re-grade off NSW Team Selection shoots. All the results are checked and after referral to Stuart Collibee, the NSW Section Coordinator, these regrades are passed to Bill Wood the National Grading Officer, who ensures that they are recorded on the National Register. This is very important for those wishing to compete in National competitions
