Invitation to the Iskandar Trophy (Malaysia)

Entry Form to the Iskandar Trophy

Dear Sirs,

I am sending the Invitation and entry forms out on behalf of our friends in
Malaysia. Please forward all enquiries to the Faizal, whose contact can found in the invitation letter or myself.

This will be a 16 stage lvl3 handgun match with minimum 357 round count, shot over 2 full days. Airport transfers and transportation to the range will be provided for all staying in the match hotel. Lunch to be provided on both match days. We are taking this opportunity to test 12 newly added bays and troubleshoot match preparation procedures in anticipation of the AA2010 to be held on the same shooting range this October. All suggestions pertaining to how we can improve for the upcoming October match is most welcomed and appreciated.

Sadly, our online match registration software will not be ready in time therefore please have all forms and passport emailed to us before the 15th March closing date. Remittance for shoot fees and hotel rooms should reach us before the closing date. Please add USD20 to each remittance transaction to cover banking charges. Hotel booking confirmation will be given once your remittance is received.

Thank you.

Invitation to the PPSA Nationals (Phillipino Nationals 2008)

World Shoot XV News from IPSCA

At the present time IPSC Australia has been offered 40 slots for the

2008 World Shoot and we have been inundated by 90 odd nominations for

team and non team slots for this match.

As has been the accepted practice for recent World Shoots, we have again

held a ballot for Slot Allocations, the results of which are attached.

Each person nominated has now received a Ballot number which is their

order of preference for a World Shoot slot. All slots are non

transferable.

Further to this, there will be 23 slots of the 40 allocated to team

positions which leaves 17 slots for non team members. This means that

the first 17 names as they appear on the list have been awarded a slot.

Should any of these first 17 people be selected for a National Team

position, their non team slot will be given to the next person on the

list (#18 and so on).

What will be required to confirm the nominated intention, is written

acceptance of the awarded slot along with full payment of the match

entry to IPSC Australia by no later than 5th of April. This is to ensure

that should anyone be unavailable to take up their awarded slot that it

may be offered to the next person in the list with enough time to

arrange travel and visa/permits etc.

The following teams will be filled by a final selection meeting

immediately following the 2008 Nationals this Easter. The names of the

Team Members will be posted on this Web site and the individuals will be

notified in writing. They will also need to confirm their intention to

take up their team slot within the above mentioned time frame.

   Open Men's      x 4

   Open Ladies     x 4

   Standard        x 4

   Production      x 4

   Open Seniors    x 3

   Open Juniors    x 3

   Team Manager          x 1

All confirmation and correspondence is to be directed to Des Lilley

(Team Manager) IPSC Australia. The Team Manager is however not

responsible for the booking of travel or accommodation arrangements.

Should you have any queries regarding the above information please don't

hesitate to contact your Section Coordinator or myself.

If you are wanting to go to Ecuador for the world shoot then you would want to read this document.  It explains what is required of you if you nominate to go to Ecuador.

If you want to go to Ecuador then you must notify your Section Coordinator so he/she can give approval and notify the Regional Director of your intentions.
